Therefore we are looking for an international adviser (and team leader) on municipal management:
The main qualifications for the position are:
• An university degree (Economics, Public Administration or Public Finance)
• Fluency of English and Portuguese
• 15 years of working experience from developing countries preferably Mozambique (or sub-Saharan Africa)
• Working experience with municipal management and municipal structures in developing countries
• Experience from programme management and coordination of activities with national and international partners
• Knowledge and experience with municipal finance (taxes, budgeting, revenues)
• Proven experience with capacity development in developing countries
Working station is Nampula, Mozambique with frequent travel from app. February 2012 – December 2013.
