LGDK has just published four reports on climate action undertaken by municipalities in, respectively, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
The reports contain information on the legal and financial framework for climate action as well as best practices of municipalities in the Nordic countries. The publications may serve as an inspiration for local governments and national decision-makers in other parts of Europe and the world.
The content is compiled in a co-operation with the local government associations in the four countries.
The reports are an activity under the European climate project LG Action. The mission of LG Action, which is co-financed by the EU programme "Intelligent Energy Europe", is to involve local governments in the international energy and climate debate.
