The business sector in Vallensbæk will soon be able to work in green and modern facilities. NCC is building offices in compliance with EU's specification of a "Green Building".
Environment-friendly building
The aim of the Green Building Programme is voluntary improvement of energy-efficiency in commercial construction throughout the EU. The energy-savings could be heating, lighting, heating of water, ventilation, cooling, office equipment, etc. so that the Green Building offices become 25% more energy-efficient than required according to the energy framework of the national authorities. Vallensbæk Company House, as the new office building is called, is expected to be ready for occupation in the summer of 2009.
