With the Curve Breaker Agreement, the municipality of Kolding undertakes to save at least 2% of the electricity consumption annually over a period of three years.
Project description
The municipality of Kolding undertakes to save at least 2% on electricity consumption during the period 2008-2010. Part of the project involves user training at municipal facilities. In this way the municipality combines efforts to benefit the climate, save money, and inform local government officials.

The project runs from 2008-2010.
Financing
The agreement is financed by loans as part of Energy Action Plan 2.
Status and results
The municipality will save at least 2% on electricity consumption annually for three years, i.e. approx. 200 tons per year (power consumption in Kolding is already CO2 neutral, meaning 100% green electricity).

The municipality can present results from the long-term energy-saving activities.
